I have dedicated my life to the mission
to improve Korean traditional enamel.

Hello!

I am Inja Kim, and I have been a cloisonne artist for over 30 years now, ever since I have had a fascination with the color.

Cloisonné is an expressive technique that fuses metal, glass, clay, and other base materials by firing at temperatures between 600 and 900 degrees, and it also means seven treasures.

The history of traditional Korean cloisonné is thought to have begun around 2000 B.C. when it was introduced with Buddhism during the Three Kingdoms of Korea.

Continuing the long tradition of Korean cloisonné, we are constantly researching new techniques to express the creativity of coloring to convey the possibilities of combining tradition and modernity.

In addition to the history, artistry, and symbolism of cloisonné, we aspire to expand the medium of empathy and communication with the public through the visual language of color, and we continue to create pieces of color today.

Thank you.
